Jennifer & Jeffrey

Jennifer & Jeffrey! What can I say about this couple? They're two people who have an awesome taste for music who made sure that their wedding reflects that about them. From their "backstage pass" table cards to their lovebirds with earphones cake topper, their wedding screamed out "Jennifer & Jeffrey." And Jennifer was just a bundle of laughter--even when her earrings went down the sink! Words cannot express how happy Cantina Light Pictures is to know a couple like them. Congratulations on your wedding!

Photo lesson: Near Far. Sometimes a good rule of thumb is to have something of interest in the foreground and something of interest in the background. Here, Jennifer wanted to surprise Jeffrey and our photographer found an opportunity to use a near far composition to make the scene fun.

Cazi & Omar

It was a beautiful wedding for Cazi & Omar. The Christmas House was the setting of their big day which made for an intimate feel for their family and friends. Cantina Light Pictures has been looking forward to their wedding as Omar is the DJ for the Kevin & Bean Show on KROQ 106.7. We've been privileged to share their special day with them and want nothing more but to share it with everyone. Congratulations, Cazi & Omar!

Photo lesson: Spotlighting. It was pitch dark close to 10pm and the only thing lit was the bench in the front yard of the complex. The bench was lit by a over hanging chandelier and it made the bench look cool. What if you put the Bride and the Groom under the light? Withe everything else dark and the exposure set for the area lit we made the above image. Add a kiss and we have a keeper. Spotlight opportunities are always abundant. Next time when you're out for an evening stroll look for an interesting light shining on an interesting area. If the area isn't interesting...add something interesting!

Kelly & Eddie

Kelly & Eddie kept apologizing for how "hot" it was that day, and yes, that's in quotation marks because it was the furthest from "hot." Despite the COLD and WINDY weather, their wedding was a beautiful wedding to remember. They had to move the ceremony and reception inside because it was so cold but the love from their family and friends kept the evening warm. They are a wonderful couple with lots of love ahead of them. Thank you for letting Cantina Light Pictures be a part of your day!

Cassie, Josh, and big Jake had a fun and WET engagement shoot! It was a warm, BEAUTIFUL day in Orange County, a rare thing to find nowadays what with the cool and wet weather we've been having. They were great sports to go in the water like they did. You all are awesome!

Thiory & Keith

Who would've thought Disneyland would be packed on a Wednesday?! And then we thought... oh wait, it's spring break. Enough Said.

We did what we can to feature Disneyland for Thiory and Keith's engagement shoot but we wanted to avoid people as much as possible. Still, even with the millions of our closest friends at Disneyland with us, we still managed to have a FUN shoot. I mean who wouldn't? It's Disneyland!
