A Little Break From Weddings

Sometimes when you get so focused on the big things you forget the little things. In a break from all that goes on here at Cantina Light Pictures, Sam got a chance to shoot some special little people. His daughter, Skylar, played on the Purple Panthers this year and had a blast. This was her first season playing soccer and supposedly can't wait for next season to start.

We figured we'd break up the pattern a bit from posting wedding and engagement slide shows and put something up from the Purple Panthers' last game a week ago. They were coming together as a team and it was fun to watch!

Special thanks to all the parents with shout outs going to Jerrold, Jodi and Christina. The pictures have illustrated how much fun, excitement, and intensity you have instilled into the kids. It was a great time!!!

Lani & Nick

Lani & Nick! They married on a beautiful yacht recently and Cantina Light Pictures couldn't be any happier being a part of their wedding day--even the sea otters joined in on the festivities by paying us a visit! ;) Their families were great and they definitely love to dance! Lani herself is a dancer herself; losing her shoe during the father-daughter dance didn't stop her from dancing! Congratulations, Lani & Nick! You two deserve each other!

Both Desiree & Kent are lucky to have each other. They are truly exceptional people with families that love and support this newly married couple. The Spurgeons!!! They are such a close-knit family, and I love it! We all had such a FANTASTIC time at Irvine Regional Park and they had such beautiful pictures! Arlene & Miko had a great engagement shoot! They chose the Japanese Gardens at the Long Beach State campus and it couldn't have been a better day for pictures! Monica & Fernando celebrated their union on such a beautiful day. Together with their family and friends, they started their life as a happy married couple. They have been together for years and their love was definitely showing as great as it did when they first fell in love!
