We love what we do here at CLP. There's no other business out there that can actually be a part of the beginning of a legacy. That's how we see it. A couples journey begins with their union and it's pretty remarkable what can happen. Imagine, we could have photographed the parents of the future President of the United States! It all starts somewhere, right?

We here at CLP feel privileged to be part of this beginning. Of course these special days can't be made without partners like West Coast Albums who have been great partners in helping us put our design creations into what we call a legacy book.

Jessica & Michael

Nestled somewhere in Fallbrook is The Grand Tradition Estate. It's a cool small estate, around 30 acres, that's breathtaking. This gorgeous venue will soon be part of Jessica's and Michael's life in that it will host their upcoming wedding.

Prior to that, however, Jessica and Michael to test the grounds by arranging for their engagement shoot to be in a section unique from the part of the property they will be on come wedding day.

Importance Of Creativity...Or Maybe Not

One thing about weddings is that many times you get treated to awe inspiring places. It's never the same! One day you're shooting in an old rustic mansion and then the other you're on the sands in Maui. We've been fortunate to shoot at many venues. Each venue has its own unique flavor. Every now and then we're able to come up with some real cool scenes to shoot. Not necessarily creative but coooool!

This was the case at The Grand Wailea in Maui. Above is an image of the pews inside the chapel on the grounds at the Grand Wailea. The light was beaming through the stained glass windows at the right time of day and hit the pews beautifully in turn creating this opportunity. It was crazy! the colors that the stained glass put out was amazing. 5 minutes later the scene was gone though. We wondered where the beauty went then realized the rain clouds took the opportunity away.

So was this a creative opportunity? Many of our clients yearn for creativity and albeit creativity is a must in today's wedding world, it's not always needed. Being able to spot situations when they come up is just as valuable. Many times our clients see this image and have an OMG moment and say, "Wow how creative!" We shrug our shoulders and with a wry smile say back, "Right place, right time?"

We have a 60x40 canvas print hanging in our offices and it's pretty amazing to see all the colors in such a big print.

The ability to "See" the moment in this case was a much more valuable skill to have rather than being creative with the scene.

Jane and Ludwig

Jane and Ludwig tied the knot and we were fortunate to be there. We heard form our photographers that they really enjoyed their shoots for December. Mainly because it was a cool month for the most void of the clammy and unpredictable hot weather we have been shooting in. For some reason or another, we tend to remember the bad weather and not the good.

Getting back to Jane and Ludwig. We are changing things around just a bit. Or should I say that we are adding new features to our services. Take a look at their website, click here.

Sarah & Jordan

You know you're doing ok when a catering director of a respected hotel brand books your services. This was the case with Sarah. We met her as we were making our rounds visiting clients in the area. She liked our work and the people in our organization. As a result we photographed hers and Jordan's wedding at The Hacienda.

The couple were fun to photograph. They were interested in having fun and that made our jobs that much easier.

Heather and Charles came to us as a referral from their good friends Kelly and Eddie whose wedding we photographed as well.

Heather and Charles were married at Serendipity Gardens, a hidden gem locked up against the mountainside of Beaumont, CA.

The entire day was relaxed and calm and both the bride and groom didn't show any signs of jitters. They were cool and collected.

It was a pleasure photographing Missy and Andy's wedding at Temecula Creek Inn. We photographed Missy's brothers wedding not too long ago view here. The Stonehouse at Temecula Creek is a beautiful location to have a wedding. Great locations help certainly but in the end we're only as good as the people we are photographing.

Missy and Andy did a wonderful job at planning and gave us enough time to allow us to capture the beauty of their day. Unfortunately, at many events we shoot, we're unable to to maximize the photo opportunities due to time constraints. That certainly wasn't the case with Missy and Andy.

A popular spot in Lguna Beach for us has been The Montage Resort. It continues to allow for breathtaking photo opportunities. Jane and Ludwig had their hearts set at taking their engagement pictures here for obvious reasons. Their pictures turned out fantastic.

It truly is amazing how small a world we live in. It seems as though every wedding we have photographed in the past 3 months we have encountered people that we know. No exception here. One of our account reps Ben had gone to school with the Bridesmaids and knew several people at the wedding. Ofcourse he didn't know the Devon or Ryan.

Devon and Ryan had a their ceremony and reception at Naples in Long Beach. They chose a place that was filled with details which made our photographers day. The bride looked stunning and the gondola ride added to the overall flavor of their day.

Photo lesson: Time of Day. Very rarely do our clients ever choose an engagement picture with excessive crowds in the background of the shot. As a matter of fact there's nothing our photographers find more annoying than a guy in a white tank-top, shorts, and flip flops walking in the background of a scene. Every bride/groom will want to have their engagement session somewhere nice with great scenery and character. The time the shoot takes place could provide the difference between excellent images from "they're nice, I like em" images.

Becky and Brennan chose to start their e-shoot at 9am. Knowing the majority of the crowds don't start piling in until 11am gave them the opportunity to not only get comfortable (no one watching them) but also gave our photographer a chance to incorporate the beautiful details of San Juan Capistrano without excessive people in the way. The images turned out clean and unobstructed, just what most of our clients want.

Then again, we have some excellent images from shoots taken at Disneyland, Hollywood and Highland, Seal Beach at sunset, and other places where crowds are a given. But maybe we wanted the crowds there for a purpose.

Betty & Carlos

The weather was a concern and so was timing the engagement shoot around the NBA Playoffs. Carlos is a huge Laker fan and didn't want to miss a game. All in all, it worked out very well, the Lakers won and eshoot shot.

Betty and Carlos were easy and relaxed and didn't show any signs of e-shoot nerves. Shooting the both of them was a so much fun that we lost track of time.

Photo Lesson: Gels.

Often times we want to stretch the lines of creativity and do something other than pose, compose, and shoot.

In the image above, the camera assistant had an orange colored gel attached to the flash head to give a warm look to the couple. Had Betty and Carlos been lit by just the flash alone (no gel) they would have appeared blueish and would not have blended nicely with the scene.

In these days of Photoshop we could achieve this look rather easily but why not try to get it correct in camera. It adds to the fun.

Photo Lesson: High ISO. The Nikon D3 and D700 have been received by the professional community as dynamic photographic tools. So many aspects as to why. We'll just name its high ISO performance this time around.

This image was shot at 2500 ISO which would have caused despair not that very long ago. The image would have come out almost , if not, unusable. Due the technology inside these cameras we're now able to take advantage what high ISO brings to the table. By bumping up ISO to 2500 the photographer was able to bump up the ambient light which created a brighter more stunning image "out of the camera". The only post processing done on the image was to add a smidgen of contrast.

Photo Lesson: Keep It Simple. Sometimes during shoots our photographers will test the bounds of creativity to a point where it may not be creative any longer. We encourage creativeness and we love it when we see spectacularly thought out images but sometimes keeping it simple can do the job as well. A simple, "Look over here and smile" still can create some nice pictures.

Photo lesson: Frame Them. Sometimes you can use abstract objects to frame and enhance your image. In the image above, our photographer chose to shoot through a car door window which created an appearance that they're in the middle of a picture frame. This is one creative aspect that we ask all our photographers to look for on shoots. It's fun and different. Try it the next time you take that family photo at the park or beach.

The Magical Camera Settings

Almost at the beginning of every summer, I (Sam) will get an email from someone who will ask me questions about their new digital camera that they are taking with them on vacation in the coming week. More often than not they will ask what camera settings they should apply to get the very best images out of their new camera (this is where I close my eyes for several seconds and let the steam blow over).

My response most of the time will be, "Just put the camera in P (for Nikon) or engage the green square (Canon) and have at it." But this time I feel I have to write about it.

First, never ever purchase an item such as a digital camera weeks prior to "needing" it. One, it may not look like one but a digital camera is a computer which can't be learned in one or two days. Two, it's an electronic device that has a 5% chance of failing after the first few days of use. Unfortunately, most people will be running around getting their last minute items they need to go on that special trip and to have to go back to the store and exchange the camera? Or even worse, send it back to the online retailer he/she bought it from? It can create the crazy that wasn't there to begin with.

But what really gets me is that a digital camera has so many functions/buttons/settings/knobs, THINGS that need to be understood prior to "getting the best pictures we can". The manual for the Nikon D700 is over 400 pages alone! Granted, you will not need half of the information from the manual so let's call it 200 pages. Still a lot of pages to read about your new electronic computer you need to use to take memorable images with on that special trip you've been planning for months now.

The truth is, I could simply tell people what my settings are on my camera but more than likely I'll get yelled at when they come back from their vacation. Reason is that my settings are customized to extract as much data from a scene that I can, knowing that I will enhance the image in post. I use a custom linear curve, contrast set to -1, sharpening set to -1, and depending on the situation I shoot in raw. If I give these settings out (which I just did) I would get emails asking "...why in the world are my images sooooo dull?" My response - these are my magical camera settings. Again, my settings are different than what anyone would expect. My cameras are set to optimize the data of the sensor (chip) inside the camera with the knowledge that I WILL post process the image.

Okay, then readers will look at what I just wrote and say to themselves, "If these settings make dull images, then all I have to do is crank it up from there". Cranking it up settings equate to sharpening +8, contrast +1, Saturation +1 and Vivid picture settings. Well I'll get yelled at again for not warning them about the other side of the coin. This is what I'd get most likely, "My kids skin is orange/red, my wife's dark grey evening dress is blotch black, and my cool off white Tommy Bahama shirt with neat patterns is a sea of white which makes people think I have a pure white dress shirt on from Mervyns". No bueno me says!

So what is the magic camera setting then? Surprise surprise surprise! There ain't any, zero, nada, zilch.

If you're a novice fun seeker/photographer and just bought your digital camera and you're going on vacation somewhere cool and lovely and you don't have time to learn about your rig, then put it auto and know it's going to be que sera sera.

Now if you do have time to learn about your new camera, then first, find your histogram. You have one, I guarantee it (Nikon and Canon). If you have channel histogram capability then enable it. Learn about the histogram. It's a graphical interpretation of the scene. 0 (pitch black) is all the way to the left and 255 (snow white/star burst) is all the way right. Everything in the middle is where you want your data to reside. Without having to get too complex (because it does get complex) try and stay away from these extremes unless the scene actually suggests pitch black and/or snow white blinding highlights. The histogram is such an important tool that I spent an entire chapter on it in Sureshot and Fantasy Photos (DVDs that sold through infomercials).

One last thing I will suggest is to control something...anything. I know I know I said go auto. Auto settings won't let you control anything camera-wise and I still hold to my recommendation of using it if you won't/don't have time to learn about your camera.

By controlling something, I mean control your exposure by using the shutter priority or aperture priority features of your camera. Controlling one of these features will allow you to learn quickly what the other feature does which in turns teaches you about exposure which is in relation to the histogram, got it? Hopefully, you will control something.

Enjoy the new rig and learn how to take good pictures. But remember this as well, taking good pictures is one thing, making them great pictures in post is another.

Photo lesson - Perspective. Most of the time people fire their cameras from eye level. Not bad but then again not unique. You will get what everyone else gets that shoot from that perspective. By the way, almost everyone I know shoot at eye level. Next time try and go low to the ground, go as low as possible. You'll get something different, I promise.

Photo lesson: Unique Objects. Red english style phone booths are rare and fun to shoot. The only other we know about is located in downtown Laguna Beach (watch out for the idiot from the garment store nearby who loves to heckle at people on shoots). Had the booth been a dark grey it wouldn't have worked. Look for vibrant unique objects to enhance your scene.

Photo lesson - Symmetry. Tons of it here. This image is pleasing to the eye because of the use of symmetry. Everything is well placed in the shot: the light posts on the ends, the pillars, the stairs, and the bride and groom. Look for shapes and continuity where ever possible to enhance the scene.

Photo lesson: Making The Camera Disappear. Our team of photographers love to shoot engagement sessions at the beach. We find that once a couple dips into the water they completely forget there is a photographer shooting them. Maybe it's the "OMG it's cold" that makes them loosen up. Whatever it is, we simply find that many of our stellar shoots come from beach shoots. We emphasize "being natural" and the beach (or maybe the water) makes people "natural".

Photo lesson: Near Far. Sometimes a good rule of thumb is to have something of interest in the foreground and something of interest in the background. Here, Jennifer wanted to surprise Jeffrey and our photographer found an opportunity to use a near far composition to make the scene fun.

Photo lesson: Spotlighting. It was pitch dark close to 10pm and the only thing lit was the bench in the front yard of the complex. The bench was lit by a over hanging chandelier and it made the bench look cool. What if you put the Bride and the Groom under the light? Withe everything else dark and the exposure set for the area lit we made the above image. Add a kiss and we have a keeper. Spotlight opportunities are always abundant. Next time when you're out for an evening stroll look for an interesting light shining on an interesting area. If the area isn't interesting...add something interesting!

Your formal pictures on your wedding day

Come wedding day, time will be of the essence. Every second of every minute will be utilized to optimize your special day. Some couples opt for a minimum amount of time for their formal pictures and their "first pictures as husband and wife." As photographers, we feel like these are just as important as every other shot taken throughout the day.

We know that sometimes you won't have as much time as we would like but we always recommend maximizing the amount of time as much as possible.

So when you're figuring out the time line for your wedding day, consider taking an extra amount of time (about 45-60 minutes at the least) after the ceremony for these pictures. It's your wedding pictures, after all!

It was a mixture of a lake, trees, a playground (zip line!), and a beautiful winter day that gave Julie & Kevin the perfect setting for their engagement session. They're not from Orange County but leave it to them to find a place that definitely brings out the best of them both in a romantic and fun way. Your engagement shoot

Every couple looks forward to their engagement shoot. It's one step closer to their wedding day and they get a preview of how they'll look with their photographer. Here are some tips for your engagement shoot date:

1) Brides, avoid bringing a purse with you. More often than not, your purse isn't in pictures. You'll have to put the purse down, worry about someone snagging it, and then picking it up. This will happen throughout the shoot because of the various poses. To save time, think about leaving your purse in the car.

2) Avoid having anything in your pockets like cell phones, chap stick, wallets, etc. These protrude from the pants (or shirt/jacket pockets) and they DO show in pictures.

3) Consider wearing light colors and stay away from bright colors. Keep the colors neutral (black, white, pastel colors) so the people viewing the photos won't automatically be drawn to the hot pink you may choose to wear. If that's what you choose to wear, then far be it for me to say otherwise.

4) Do your homework. Your engagement shoot is just as important as choosing your wedding ceremony location. These are photos you'll remember for the rest of your life. Take a good amount of time to decide where you want to have your shoot. If you have the choice to go anywhere you want, take advantage of that!

5) Have a GREAT time! Your engagement shoot is what Cantina Light Pictures likes to consider a dry run to your wedding day. Remember to smile, have fun, be open to suggestions, and throw in your own suggestions. It's your engagement shoot, let's have a wonderful time!

This past weekend was full of events like a typical Cantina Light Pictures weekend. Like the beginning of every reception, I find my table to put my stuff down on and set up shop. Sitting next to me was a lady who was a friend of the chef whose catering company was doing that wedding. We introduced ourselves, chit chatted throughout the night (when I actually found time to sit down for a few seconds!) and she told me about her pre-wedding treat for herself.

She is one of those people who are spa-goers. I myself admit that I'm not a spa-goer simply because I'm a busy person and I'm convinced that every spa & massage place out there charges an arm and a leg. I don't know about you but spending mucho dinero for a massage doesn't help me relax one bit! But then she started to tell me the benefits of a massage and contrary to my belief, how massages aren't as expensive as I perceive them to be.

Aside from the massage being relaxing, getting one has its benefits:

1. Pick Your Spot: No one ever said that only your back has to be massaged. If you're uncomfortable about having someone massage the lower back, for instance, get a massage on your shoulders, or arms, or legs. A massage creates chemical changes that reduces a pain chemical and stress throughout the body

2. De-Stress, Stay Healthy. Massage may boost immunity. Several studies have measured the stress hormone called cortisol--produced when one is stressed--in subjects' saliva before and after massage sessions, and found dramatic decreases. Cortisol kills cells important for immunity, so when massage reduces your stress levels and hence the cortisol in your body, it may help you avoid getting a cold or another illness while under stress.

3. Blood Pressure Benefits: Massage reduces hypertension, suggests a good deal of research. This may be because it stimulates pressure receptors that prompt action from the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve regulates blood pressure, as well as other functions.

4. Technique Tactics: There's little evidence to support one kind of massage over another, sources say, so don't worry about whether your therapist is schooled in Shiatsu, Swedish or some other technique. The key is pressure firm enough to make a temporary indentation in the skin.

5. Self Help. You can massage yourself. Although you don't have to massage the part of the body that hurts to relieve pain, targeting that area does tend to help more. One example is massaging the arms.

Even if you can't find the time to go to a local spa or massage parlor, take 20 minutes out of your day for a bath. That, too, has its benefits.

A Little Break From Weddings

Sometimes when you get so focused on the big things you forget the little things. In a break from all that goes on here at Cantina Light Pictures, Sam got a chance to shoot some special little people. His daughter, Skylar, played on the Purple Panthers this year and had a blast. This was her first season playing soccer and supposedly can't wait for next season to start.

We figured we'd break up the pattern a bit from posting wedding and engagement slide shows and put something up from the Purple Panthers' last game a week ago. They were coming together as a team and it was fun to watch!

What Is Happening With The Stock Market!!!

As many of you know, in my previous life I walked the floors of the NYSE and had 10 second hot dog lunches on the corner of Broad St. and Wall St. Although my singular focus is the growth of Cantina Light Pictures, I keep a prudent eye on what's happening with all the events going on in our markets. Friends have called me in recent days asking for my opinion on what's going on, which I respond, "what's your broker saying?" Apparently, not enough to comfort the issues these individuals have.

Here's the skinny from where I sit. Quick touch up on what happened yesterday and a synapses on what I think may go on today.

The markets yesterday fooled many at the beginning. As expected, we experienced heavy trading (frenzied is the more likely term) at the open. Trading was so fierce that some trades weren't reported. This led the ticker tape to read that we were down 98 points. When all the trades had caught up and recorded into the systems it showed we were actually down over 300 points. At the beginning some were looking at being down 98 points okay considering the bad news from the weekend. When all the trades caught up and they saw what we were really down over 300 we experienced what happens many times, a rally off the lows. The rally was short lived, however, as the largeness of the bad news lingered. We attempted another rally as rumors circulated that there were "talks" with Warren Buffet.

The markets tone had turned negative and selling increased as we pierced the morning lows with several attempts at a rally that didn't amount to anything.

We closed below the July 15th intra day lows and all the indices close at their bottoms for that same date.

Net/net it was a very nasty day yesterday. There was no capitulation as was the fear and what some might hoped.

What to expect today.

The Fed meets today and what was considered to be a non event is now one that renders much attention. What will the Fed do? Will they cut rates to calm things down? If so, could that arouse concerns of a zero interest rate policy used by Japan in years past? Would it show that the Fed is in panic mode? In any case the last few Fed cuts had almost no positive effect. We'll wait and see.

AIG is of course a significant topic being discussed by analyst and Main St alike. First, what are analyst saying? Essentially what they are saying is that a private sector bailout deal is dead. In other words no help from large institutions from the likes of BofA, Wells, Citibank, and/or other financial houses. It makes all the sense in the world if you think about it. Why would any of these institutions attempt to bail AIG out when they can buy their assets up in bankruptcy court. Another thing, these institutions are direct benficiaries of an AIG bankruptcy as all the annuity and such assets will migrate towards them (happening as we speak). Lastly, do they have enough in reserves to put together $70 billion? Sure they do! But is it prudent?

As a result, word has it that a bridge loan is being discussed with the FED for AIG. Only issue is that the Fed has publicly said that they will not step in with regards to situations like this again.

Interestingly, they didn't help out Lehman Bros. the 4th largest investment bank in the world.

Something that has to be considered is the possibility of assets moving away from Wall St. Let's face it, people are concerned and want to know what to do. They're not hearing from their brokers (more than likely due to the fact their broker doesn't know what to do either) and the constant bad news coming out by watching TV about our financial markets is adding fuel to the fire. Basically, this might be the conversation in homes. "Hey Honey I've been thinking, most of Wall Streets brilliant minds along with the US government have tried to solve this big problem at least 5 times now. Each time they've failed. Maybe we should reconsider where our assets should be placed."

In Summary

All we can hope for is massive capitulation. People throwing in the towel with a mid day, heavy volume reversal to take us back into blue skies....for the time being. It's highly unlikely. It's going to be a rough ride where peoples souls will be tried and tested. Stay tuned....Sam

Jennifer and Joe had a blast at their wedding. The Del Mar Room in Long Beach was beautiful and the day was gorgeous. Jennifer and Joe have some great images that will forever bring them back to their special day. Joe had some difficulty with the sun at first so he kept his sunglasses on but later he was well adjusted. The camera just loved Jennifer throughout the entire day.

Vianney & Mike

We had a ton of fun shooting Vianney and Mike's wedding. The ceremony was beautiful and afterwards we headed over to a local park to take some awesome first pictures of the two of them as a wedded couple. The reception was fun because the combination of their two different families made for a mixed and lively crowd! They're such a great couple and I'm really happy we got to share their wedding day with them. Congrats Vianney and Mike!

He's Getting Ready To Tee It Up!

Let me introduce Chance to you. He's my (Sam's) little almost 3 year old. I took him out to a driving range a month ago with his sisters thinking that he would be better behaved and not be the "terrible 2" that he sometimes is as he watched people including his sisters hit golf balls. Well here he is the other day hitting all by himself. I can't stop smiling everytime I look at these pictures.

1st image - notice as he shifts his weight to his right side as he takes the club back. He's also keeping his hands in front of his chest, not letting the club get behind him...like I do sometimes.

2nd image - On his downswing he has the club "loaded" ready to release with some power. Notice his weight transfer and how his hands are staying in front of his chest still...(he's stays connected...something I learned from Randy Chang). His body is returning to it's starting point.

3rd image - Chance keeps his head still at impact and behind the ball as well. You can fully tell that he is transferring his weight to his left side at this point by looking at his right foot as he gets onto its instep. He hasn't broken the imaginary line or wall on his left side (yellow line) that we're all told not to breach. Hands are still in front of him. He's just a bit too steep at impact but I'll take it considering he's been at it for just a month.

It's just fun to watch. He's not as long as his sisters yet but we'll give it a few months.

Alexis and Jeremy

Alexis and Jeremy had an awesome wedding! Everything just seemed very pieced together. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a ton of fun. The band played great music, the food was good, the dance floor was packed, and everything was just right. Alexis and Jeremy will be moving out of the country in just a couple of months and we are so happy we were able to get these memories for them and their family and friends to see.

Emily and Thanks

Here we have a fun loving couple in Emily and Thanks. We shot them in downtown Laguna Beach on what was supposed to be a pretty hot day. Luckily for us it wasn't as hot as expected. They had a great time on the shoot and appears they should be ready for our cameras coming up very soon. You guys did a wonderful job at making a good day great! Wonderful images!!!

Ana and Giovanny are a very cute couple! All they could do was giggle and laugh! They have a tremendous amount of affection for one another and it shows. We shot these at Woods Cove. It appears we just can't get away from that venue but it's all good! It's a gorgeous are for pictures and Ana and Giovanny specially requested it. Enjoy your pictures guys! Tamara & Tyler's Wedding

I'm (I being Sam) still getting out there and shooting quite a bit while running Cantina Light Pictures and all the events we have in store for the future. Running the show and shooting can be quite a juggling act from time to time and can get a bit overwhelming. However overwhelming it could ever be to juggle the two I wouldn't have missed the chance to shoot Tamara and Tyler's wedding for the world. I have been friends with Tamara for quite a while and watching her walk down the aisle was something beautiful to see. They had a wonderful time as you'll be able to see in just a bit. Thanks guys for letting us share in your special day! I had wonderful help as always with trusty Samantha and Tania shooting right along with me. Together we captured some great memories.

Corinne and Patrick

Corinne and Patrick got engaged right before New Years in Phoenix. Patrick marked the memorable event by proposing while on their gondola ride and Corinne was surprised to say the least. (I was just informed that I was incorrect, Patrick proposed later on in the evening inside a gazebo, sorry guys!) It must have been the night for proposing considering that Corinne and Patrick had just witnessed a couple get engaged right before them that evening and left Corinne wondering, "what if?" Well her "what if" turned in to reality and Cantina Light Pictures is happy to be helping them in celebrating their special day coming soon. See their engagement slide show!

We were finally able to get an engagement shoot with Vivian and Ruben. Schedules weren't matching up but we finally did it. These shots were taken near the Cerritos Library and the Sculpture Gardens. It was warm but Vivian and Ruben did very well! Naturals in front of the camera! Hope you guys like your pictures.

Cantina's Next Top Photographer!!!

Surprisingly, we have been asked by quite a few individuals over the past couple of weeks about our next game. They've been saying that the game is soooo easy to do and fun to play. In fact, it is easy and it is fun to play. All you need is a camera phone and some creativity and you're playing! Our last game involved players to take a picture with their camera phone that had something pink in the background and email it to us at hello@cantinalight.com. This time we have something a bit different. We'll give you a set of clues and you need to figure out what the answer may be and take a picture of your answer. For instance, 1) I'm an arch. 2) Shaped in the form of an M. 3) And I'm not good for you. The answer is McDonalds! Take a picture of any cell phone with your camera phone and send it to us! That's it!

There will be a new set of clues every day so keep coming back. That's of course if you need more clues to come up with the answer. Email your answer to hello@cantinalight.com and our design team will review the images submitted and determine who wins the contest for the week. So let's get this thing started!

Tamara and Tyler

Hey hey hey! Now that was a fun shoot! Tamara and Tyler are getting married at Alta Vista CC very soon and time is now ticking away towards the big day! Tamara , you looked so nice! Who would have known that I would end up shooting your wedding!!! For all of you who don't know, Tamara was my assistant at UBS when I was running money as a stock broker back in the day. Crazy! Tyler started out a little on the shy side (as most people do) but busted out big time and had so much fun during the shoot. We can't wait to shoot your wedding day guys! Rosita and Chris

Rosita and Chris met several years ago and as fate had it they would pass each other once again only to find themselves partners in forever! They had a beautiful wedding. Their ceremony was a first for Cantina Light Pictures in that the entire mass was performed in Latin! The church was nice and quaint and very awe inspiring. Their reception was beautiful as well. Most importantly Rosita and Chris couldn't keep their eyes away from one another. As we make this blog entry, their enjoying a beverage somewhere in Kuaii. Hopefully guys you will be able to steal a peak at your pictures in between kisses! Take care...we all had great fun! Let me speak for Samantha and Lyndon in mentioning that it was a great time!
